I am placing some windows inside a RST 2011 basic wall. I wanted to add dimensions in 3D. The I could select the window and edit the tempaorary dims. to corrolate with the actual dimensoins. However, the dimensoins string annotation is 50ft in the air. . . any idea why this would happen?

Just select the "Work Plane" to the face of that wall, then use the Dim tool
