Hello,
I am creating a window family with a brick soldier header that I have assigned a visibility on/off instance parameter. I would like to know if there is any way to have each instance automatically adjust this visibility parameter based on the wall type of the window's host wall.
For instance, this same window will be going into both brick walls and cast stone walls. I would like each instance of this family to automatically turn the brick soldier header on when hosted within a brick wall and turned off when hosted within the cast stone wall. Can this be done with a formula or something else? Thanks for your help.

As far as I know, no. There isn't any way to get the family to read the host type.
