Whenever I render my hall way on draft or on any setting, the lights that I have put in will not emit any sort of light to illuminate the area. I've tried changing parameters, putting in new lights, duplicating and changing lights. I've even changed the intensity of the lights. If anyone can help me figure out why they won't emit light, it would be greatly appreciated. If anyone has lights that work when rendered will also be greatly appreciated!

If you search the forums, you will find several similar threads. 

1. First question, is this really a light or is it just named as a light?  Open the family and see if it has a light source.
2. Second, is this light source surrounded by a model material - like a lens?  If so, what is that material set to IN THE PROJECT.  The project rules so it doesn't matter what it is set as in the family.   Does this material have transparency settings?
3. Finally, if this is a ceiling hosted light and the source is above the ceiling plane, does the light cut a hole in the ceiling? 

Light can not penetrate solid, non-translucent/transparent objects!
