What is the best way to obscure the surrounding buildings to highlight the main building. I want to highlight the building but still make it look realistic.

This probably isn't the best way to do it but what I did for my projects to highlight a building is to first render the scene and save the image, then export a saved version of the same view but with a hidden line view. Then I opened it in photoshop and spliced the two images together with only the main building rendered realistically. It will look quite nice, especially if you enable shadows in the hidden line view to get it a 3d look to blend in. Hope that helps.
