Hi All,
I am faced with creating a gazebo with a square roof plan pitched at 40deg. I would like to create the roof such that you are able to view the gazebo in section and see each rafter purlin etc.
The rafters to the roof need to radiate from the centre point. I have tried using the structural beam system tool. It almost gets me there but there is no option in the layout style for a radial system.
How do I create this roof?

Best bet would be to create a component for your rafters and then do a radial array of them...

Hi Mr Spot,
Thanks for that. That sorts out the radial issue however, how does someone draw a timber beam pitched at a certain angle and be able to move it around?
I am able to draw a timber beam in a section view in order to pitch is corectly but this beam cannot set into a radial array or be moved from it's original location.
The timber beam was created using the structural family.
Is there another way?
