Ok, ive searched no luck or good explanations...

Plain in simple, in my sheet index, i need ED to come before E, in my electrical part of sheet index...

how do i go about re ordering this... thanks

Add a new parameter to your sheets in the project parameters called sort order.  Add that filed in your schedule and sort by it, then hide the column

 

 

You must not have looked very hard because the answer is listed below in a similar thread as well..

when i go to Project parameters, there is no choice under add, of sort order....

I'm sorry, I said that badly. you can add a shared project parameter, or in your sheet scheuld, you can just add a parameter there.  Just goto your schedule and under fields, add a parameter there.
