I'm working on a project for my Revit class in grad school, so I'm still a little green when it comes to the program. I'm constructing one of my old studio projects for the assignment, and the structure is comprised of a cast-in-place concrete wall with a shipping container style corrugated metal veneer. It's easy enough to make the curtain wall panels, but the catch is that my walls have an irregular angular profile. As a result, when I cut the profile for, say, the opening for the door in the concrete wall, I get an error message for each panel the angled profile lines cross, or if a horizontal profile line doesn't completely cross through a panel.....and this causes the panels not to be drawn at all.
What's the best way to fix this, because I'd like to be able to cut through these panels at angles, but Revit seems to be somewhat unforgiving. See the attached screen shots for reference.
Thanks!

Iv had done this on my practice... not recomended at all. For elevations use a custom hatch, for sections trough put a profile detail... Ask yourself if you really , really need that kind of geometry on the top of every single wall. For rendering you could use bumps and displacements.
I ended some day with 7 types of the same wall, but with different heights of the profile of the exterior sheet. And they ask for a "little" change, and all the past work worth nothing. So, i reccomend to create a custom hatch for this.

Hi
I am a little confused on what you are doing. It seems you are modifying your curtain wall profile to add a door???
but then you call it a concrete wall??? If it is a curtain wall just use the curtain grid tool and grid out your door, then change the panel (where you want your door to be) into a curtain wall door???
Select the panel in the curtain wall, you will probably have to use your tab to select the panel. Then under Edit Type, the Family pull down at the top of the dialog box choose a curtain wall door. You might have to load the family and out of the box there are only two to choose from, so you might end up creating a new family to your desired door type.
I hope this helps

Another option, one I hate but works... Is to...
put a standard wall where you want the door, place door in the wall, edit the profile of the wall to the exact size of the door. Then place the curtain wall and edit profile of the curtain wall to exlude the door shape.
