I am fairly new to Revit 2011 but I'm coming along alright.  I've recently gotten hung up on trying to create a brick ledge (see attached image).  I've got a stacked wall coming down onto a slab w/ a thickened edge, on top of a grade beam.  I have tried unlocking the brick layer of the subwall but am unable to manipulate its height for some reason.  Thanks in advance!

Your problem is the wall is stacked.  After initial placement, I often un-stack the wall which is what you need to do to pull down this layer.

I tried breaking up the wall, but am still not able to manipulate the height of the brick, even after I unlock the bottom of that layer.  Am I missing a something?

You unlocked the bottom of the brick layer for that wall type- correct?

You have to adjust it in section, not elevation.... And it does work because I use it.

Finally figured it out.  I was trying to adjust the height of the brick in the wall editor rather than in the section of the model.  Thanks for your help.
