I found this rfa,  to me this was imorted from autocad ... Well during the pass few days I have try converting the component or making into a revit family, but with no luck...  where i can change the scale the column into different height 6'-0, 8'-0' ...since is a solid form?  unfortunately i dont know what is the problem... can some one help me...

Can some point me to a website that explain how to modified the cad block?

Thanks

You can NEVER modify anything you import from cad, sketchup, and other cad format. end of question.

Once it is imported, it became dead.

The best advise I would give is to learn how to create it on your own, I never used imported object in my family as it polluted the revit model and its performance.

there are resources on the web to show you how to make families, and Autodesk has a "family guides" to download.

try searching it at the autodesk site.

good luck

torres- here's the way i do it.. i open a SEPARATE session of revit- (takes

twice as long to start up if you use the ribbon i know)- and then import

the DWG file into a mass element there.. get your import scale right

with black lines only.. then you can slice it and dice it and measure

it and even use the windows snipping tool and bring images over

to your project.. use DWGs AWAY from your revit project like

pchan says..
