We have the same problem in our office. Open task Manager select processes and select WSS Comcenter. and select end process. This will allow Revit to start again with out restarting the computer.

@ burke424:
Thank you very much for idea!
It isn't that process to be killed on my computer, but you give me courage to explore with every process. Killed one by one and get to wmiprvse.exe-network service for Revit Structure. And it works!
Problem solved:
wmiprvse.exe is network service which you have to kill.

I like your other solution, upgrade in a month! I don't know about the rest of you, but the switch to Windows 7 has been phenomenal. I work in an IT type position, supporting our CAD/BIM Software. Amount of issues I have to fix has dropped drastically since we made the shift, leaves me bored and able to spend more time here.

We've been runnning Windos 7 64 bit for months and it has fixed a lot of issues but we still have to manually stop the WSCommCntr process occasionally to restart Revit.

I'm going to keep that in mind, my company (current one) is SLOWLY switching over to Revit, but we haven't had many users (except me) using it. I've had no problems or complaints, I'm running a Dell T7400, Dual Quad, 16GB Ram, Win 7, 2.83GHz processors, and an NVIDIA FX5800.
So far, I've only had Revit lock up on me (2012) during the install process, it locked up... restarted my computer, reinstalled and everything went smooth. What we need is for someone to write a script which can kill those processes created by Revit/CAD...
