I was wondering if there was a way to change the default input feet to inches. I am used to AutoCAD and i dont use the ' or " mark i usually just type the amount of inches so it would be helpfull if i was able to do this in revit as well.

0 space number is the way you do inches only in Revit.  0 24 gives you 2'

there is a hotkey application developed by someone who posted it on AUGI. it is designed to input the inches instead of feet.

It is called inchworm, and it is a freeware.

Try google it and see if you can download it.
