I downloaded a few vehicles and loaded them in my project.

the cars are showing in plan views, like site plan.

but when i move to 3d view they are no where to be seen and or when i render...

How do i fix this, thanks... kenny

Check VG to make sure the category is on in 3D view.  Also check to make sure the vehicle family is a 3D object and not just a plan representation.  Also check to make sure everything is set to the proper phases and phase filters.

It'd be good to check in VG and make sure their category is turned off, yes, but also check your view settings... down at the bottom at "phasing". 

You might have placed your cars in a view that was set to "existing" and your 3d views are set to only show "new" for example. 

If you change the settings on your 3D views to "phase filter: None," everything from all phases will show.
