Could somebody tell me how do I create a 3D Signage? I am designing an exhibition space and need to put a signage above the entrance door but have no idea how to make the letters 3D.

Thanks!

the problem with model text is that the sign will look

like text instead of a sign.. i haven't made too many

signs- but it seems like you would want to make the

3D letters with an in-place family.. and if it's a serious

sign- you would probably want to have a sketch made

by a sign company first..

I have used the model text successfully, you may find that you need to set up several differing workplanes, for setters facing differing directions and or along a curved surface.

I've also used ModelText for exterior signage. I nested in seperate families for each word into one Generic Face based component. I made each word seperate because I wanted each word to be its own light source.
