In that plan view (level 2 right?) look at the "Properties" dialog box, you can see "Underlay"? change that to "level 2"

Lines in monitor views can be shown with thickness or all as thin lines so the first thing is to make sure you are not on thin line setting.  So check the view Tab / Graphics / Thin lines switch.

All linework is controlled by way of object styles.  You can set these globally from the Manage tab / Object styles.  Then in individual views, you can modify these settings through the view's VG settings.  Type VG.  And finally you can over-ride individual elements in a view through object over-rides and linework tool.  Use your help to learn more.

another failure at comrehensive reading:  I'm simplifying this.

Object styles controls the global lineweights of everything in the model.  For example, walls--when cut--are lineweight 5.  walls when seen in projection, are lineweight 3. Floors might be cut: 7 Projection: 6 or something weird.  Who knows -- some templates are funky.

Just an example.  If your floors are darker/thicker than your walls, you can set the floor values lower.  Just keep in mind that this is global.
