Is there a way to lock walls to grids as you draw them, not later by aligning and locking?  I bet there is.

The closest answer I can give you is: When you draw a single wall, you can hover over the lock symbol & activate the lock. It does not work when the 'Chain' box is checked.

If you draw your walls while "picking" a line, or rather a grid, then you should be able to lock it at that point.  Otherwise, just draw an exaggerated layout, and then align and lock everything.  Then there is what mhans pointed out, that if you draw a wall one by one, without the chain box checked, then you can constrain the wall...  But aligning is by far the funnest way to do things... Right?
