I am trying to make sidewalks (that being said, if there is a better way than what I'm doing, please let me know!).
So I am laying down building pads with slope and then sidwalks on top of them. For the most part, this is working out, but when I lay down this one pad (see image), it doesn't cut through the terrain.
To make matters more confusing, when I connect the pad on the right to the one in question with a curved corner piece, it cuts out all of the terrain bordered by the 3 pads in the picture!
Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks.

Since I don't really need to model thickness to sidewalks and pavement, I simply split the topo surface and apply the proper concrete or asphalt material to the split area.
