Hello Revit Citizens,
We have at the office a particular family design for partial sections plans and elevation. They should seem almost the same, and the family we did is almost fine. But is not.
I uploaded a picture showing the family in plan and elevation. Note the problem, which is that when the section appears in elevation, the text remains in the same place, overlapping the text with the filled region working on the family, depending witch side being showed.
How should it work?
I'm also uploading two families; I am using one for "horizontal" section on plan and the other for "vertical" sections also on plan.
They work smoothly on plan view but they don’t work well enough on elevation view.
Regards!

Hello,
Instead of loading in the new section head and changing all the current sections to that style, try editing the section head family from the project and loading it back in. It will come in as an update instead of coming in as a completely new family. Just use your new section family that ya'll created for new jobs. We had similar issues with weld symbols we changed. Hope this helps
