I've downloaded some revit families from a manufacturer and I can't figure out how to edit the identity data.  It seems to be locked.  What am I missing?

Which data, I don't see a problem.  NOTE: ...some of them are a formula.

Well that is my problem.  When the family is loaded in my model the following identity data is automatically filled in and grayed out: model, manuefacturer, description.  When I open the family to edit the data I can't find it anywhere.

I tried creating new parameters with the same names so I could edit the text.  But my equipment schedule is still referencing the original parameters.
