Howdy!
I was hoping someone could enlighten me on how to get this error to go way. I get the error when I attempt to add my roof deck using the floor tool. I have tried setting the work plan to the level I am working in, but it didn’t seem to matter.
The model was working at one time and I was able to add the roof deck. However, I deleted the deck and when I tried to put it back it, this error showed up.
Any thoughts??

Are you in a "Plan View" or other view like Elevations or sections views?
If you look at the "Ribbon" you will see at "Home" tab the "Set Work Plane" button, that's a "Blue Square" with a vertical and horizontal grid...

It is also important to name the workplane, because if you name it and then look at it in a 90 degree view, you can use the framing view tool and it will instantly give you a parallel view. If you don't name the view the framing view tool will not work.
