I am trying to export some models i have done in revit, some families to be exact. I have asigned some materials and colours to my model in revit and I want to export them into Auto Cad. For some reason when I export they loos all colour and the whole model comes out black (using true colour export) and when I export my model using Index colours, the whole model comes out pink....

Can anyone please help....

export as fbx file, uncheck the box "import as block" ..... before importing assign real units, like meters, feets, etc.

why you want rendering info into autocad?

The colors of the different elements are defined in the txt file ( that you can edit, or choose from one thats already set, like the aia standard ) when you export a dwg under the "dwg properties" tab, there you can edit the colors of the elements (red is 1, yellow is 2, and so on, check the number/color in autocad)... as are in revit categories. Leave it as index color.

A different case is the room colors... you can export it with true color, but all the layers have the black/white color assigned. I suggest stick to index color, and manually re-color the hatchs. It will be less pain than changing every layer.. than some rooms.
