hai all,
i have got a problem with dimensions, i need t override the dimension which is actual with the diff dimension.For Ex: if distance between one end to other is 25' if break lines are used in between to reduce the size on the sheet, how do we get that 25' lenght whoch is acutally not when measured. like in autocad where in we can do dimension override. is there any method to do so . it will be of great use if any one can help.

if you are breaking the plan/section using the Revit break symbols, the dimensions will read correctly across the break. Look on the border of the crop region of a view, there are little blue break symbols. Clicking these will put a space in your view, which can then be adjusted using the blue arrows. Dimensions across these areas will read the real dimension.

I THOUGHT THAT ONLY WORKED FOR PARAMETRIC DESIGN, AND NOT FOR 2-D DRAFTING IN REVIT? I HOPE I AM WRONG... INTERESTED TO SEE AN ANSWER
