Hi Guys,

I am currently working on a site plan for a piece of coursework, showing the view from the proposed building out onto the car park, fields and it does look fairly good but there are lots of houses in the distance and I would like to show this on revit. What would be the best was to show the row of houses?

As always, thank you very much for any help.

I see a lot of companies that will use an image from Google Earth otherwise they will use the massing tool generate some generic looking forms (recognizsable of course) and copy those around on the site.

A side note here, you would wise to place all those masses or what have you into a seperate Revit model and link that into your project to reduce the file size and maintain a good level of system performance.

If you are on subscription, you can use the Globe Link for Revit 2011 plugin.

If not, Imaginit  has developed their own...formally called Avatech Utilities
