When using halftone settings / filled regions / shading (this is only from experience) in a view, upon printing out that sheet containing the view with one or a combination of these settings, the print out contains dark triangles which look like arrow heads.

I'm only aware of this occuring when halftones / filled regions / shading is used.

I was wondering if anyone else has the same problem and if it can be fixed.

I'd also like to know (if someone can tell me) whether it's to do with the printer settings or if it is just something that happens when using one of these settings.

Thanks.

We have never seen this.

Try printing to PDF first, this may be a printer driver problem.

I've noticed a more specific occurence of this happening over the past few months.

It only seems to appear when we use our Louvre window family.

Any ideas why? Would it be something embedded in the family? Or just the printer settings again?

The triangles also show up when in "Print Preview".

If you're able to help, it would be greatly appreciated.

There is probably something wrong with your louver family.  Upload it, I'd take a look!  Are there particular view where this shows up?  Like RCP/plan?  or.. elevations?

It only shows up in plan views, but I'm also wondering if it's something to do with the view range as well because it would appear on a few select plans.

Which still doesn't make much sense.

Thanks for your help though Smile
