Revit 2011 Building

I'm working on a plan of a layout of Trusses/Rafters/Joists in a Roof detail drawing. The initial layout on plan was correct, but on checking sections I noted top of Joists had been placed on the ceiling refence level (instead of bottom of joist). Simple solution (I thought many hours ago) place start and end level offset +220mm, raising joists to correct level.

No; when altered half of the joists appear in correct position, a large number take up crazy orientations and some refuse to appear on plan. The view range is correct and no plan regions are activated within the plan.

I've tried to correct each joist/rafter individually, but they refuse to appear on certain areas of plan.

Anyone have any idea what mat be going on?

Review your View Range again. Top & Bottom should be associated to the same level if you are on a floor plan looking down, bottom should be 0 & top has a value greater than the cut plane. If you are using Ceiling plan, View Depth level should be the same as the Top and offset set to 0.

Reviewing the view range and increasing depth has solved the problem, however it does not explain why it happened on only part of the plan previously and why some of the structural elements 'skewed' when relocated.
