Hi

I drew a "Model in-place" object in my project, then copied it 5 times for differenet places in the same project.

However I found that they became 5 families in my schedule (Object 1, Object 2, Object 3......)

In other words, if I change something in Object 1, all the other objects will not be changed.....

How can I make a "Model in-place" a "Family"?

Thank you

I don't have revit here right now but try this: edit that "In-place" then copy several times, finish the edit mode and check.

"How can I make a "Model in-place" a "Family"?" - You can't, what you can do is create a "Group" with that in-place and save that group, then you can insert that group in other project.

Something else you can try is starting a new family, editing the in place family in your procject, then doing a copy/paste into your new family. Save, then load into your project.
