I'm trying to add a wooden boardwalk type pathway on top of a green roof. The building and roof curves like a bridge. I created the roof by modeling by face. Revit won't allow me to split the face of the roof, nor can I create another roof with the same curve, but different boundaries. Anyone have any ideas?

You need to "Cut" the mass first then you can apply a new roof by face in that surface

Can some one help me, I Can't split face on a sloped roof. I tried it on 'Roof by Footprint' method. I dont know how to use 'Roof by Face' method.
