So this is the problem I'm having, and the very fact that I need to delay the development of my project because I need to ask for assistance on the internet is another point of contention; I've created a custom truss and loaded the truss into a "blank" project (A project with nothing in it but the truss, to make sure I don't get any errors), the truss works fine. When I load the truss into my real project I get off axis errors and the truss is completely obscured and twice the height and width that it was desigened to be.
Now When I load an actual truss that came with Revit, this perticular project completely obscures those trusses too, and when I try to save it under a different name or update the trusses and overwrite its peramiters it still obscures the trusses.
When I designed the truss, I made sure that the top cord was on the top, the bottom cord along the bottom and so forth and like I said before, when loaded into a blank project it looks exactly like I want it.
This problem is so odd and exactly the sort of thing I encounter when working with revit again and again. If I had my way I'd dump Revit for good and beg the programers to develop the software akin to 3D modeling programs that are much more intuitive.
Anyways, this is the perdicament I'm stuck with, If anyone has encountered a similar problem and worked their way through it (it's been hours now) PLEASE PLEASE LET ME KNOW!
