can you import a google sketchup model into a revit project as a dynamic element?

No. Unfortunately when you import most any model you will find out that the you will only be getting the geometry. You can explode the geometry and move around some objects, but in the past, when I import .skp models they explode into oblivion. 

 It might be better to import more complex geometry and rebuild the easy stuff in revit.
