Someone, please help me.

I have Revit 2010 loaded on my home computer, and it has recently begun asking me for an Activation Code.

I don't recall any version of Revit ever asking me for an Activation Code ... AutoCAD ALWAYS asks for one, but Revit has never asked for one.

Any idea where to find the Activation Code?

The computer is a stand alone (not hooked up to any network or internet) ... could that be the problem?

Thanks, in advance, for any assistance you might be able to provide.

J

If you have a licensed copy of Revit, you will have an activation code.

I do have a licensed copy ... but have used it for more than a year without it asking for a code.

Would it use the same code as the 2010 AutoCAD that it was bundled with?

Would it be asking for an Activation Code because it doesn't have an internet connection?

It sounds to me like your license has run out. I, as well as other Revit users in my office use the home user licenses for our Revit suite and the license has to be renewed every year. We make sure to do so before it runs out.

I'd suggest contacting your reseller, or emailing or calling autodesk directly. Alternatively, you could look for a keygen, but I think the legal way is the better option here.
