Tried to void extruded Text in a family to insert into .rvt, but the void didn't cut the text. My next option would be playing around with wall-based families for each letter and try to insert that to the wall in the rvt. Any suggestions?

You will have to do this one letter at a time. Create a work plane tangent to the face of your wall where you want one of your letters. Place a letter there, then from a plan, create a circular array (no group) of this letter at a good spacing and change each letter accordingly.
