Hi to all.

I have a question regarding the correct way to model a building with concrete frame and walls.

When I put the column aligned with the outer finished face of the wall I get the result that I want in the

plan and section view, but not in the elevation view. There as you can see in the attached pic I don't

want the column and the beam to be visible. Is there a way to create a layer of plaster in the face of 

the concrete column, or am I doing it completely wrong?

You are using "Structural Columns" and not "Architectural columns", right?

Just use the "Paint" tool with the material you want in that elevation view

Ok. Yes I am using structural columns and not architectural.

That seems to work for the color of the column or beam but

I can not get rid of  the edges of those elements. Is this possible

to do it in some way or not?

Yeah, just use the "Linework" tool with "Invisible Lines", search in your HELP how to use it.
