I redrsigned the model of the counter top with sink opening fro a straight counter to a "c" shaped counter all looks good in the edit model space but on the plan view the new counter is visable and look good but the old origional counter is still there I cannot get it to go away any thoughts or help I am a student working in Revit 2011

Do you still have the old counter in your model? If so, tab to select it then delete it.

no it only shows up in ther plan view no other views I tried the tab it only selects the whole thing

It sounds like maybe the masking region is still in place at the location, open the family and see if you can select the masking region on the floor plan View and delete it
