Hello All,

This is my first post, but I am not new here.  I have been reading posts for a long time.

As always, I started my research by reading, but could not locate any answer.  So, I decided to ask:

Attached images tell the story better.  It is a residential setting with a kitchen nook on the first floor.  But the second floor, that nook becomes a flat wall.  When create another wall on top of the nook, exterior siding does not align.

What could be the problem and how can I correct that?

Thanks in advance.

Best,

Is that a "Model Pattern"? if Yes, did you try the "Align" tool?

I don't know a lot, but I had this same problem at work yesterday.

I found that the walls that looked mis-aligned on the outside were actually just a tiny bit out of alignment in plan view. I deleted the offending wall, then redrew it, making sure that the  location lines that I was using to draw the wall lined up, then joined the walls. Another time, I also tried using the "align" tool which worked as well, and saved some steps.

This worked for me....  Maybe yours is the same problem?

S.

Thank you all for your kind replies.

As you (sroreilly) mentioned, I solved the problem by deleting the wall and redrawing the whole wall.  However, instead of splitting the wall, I created an opening and placed the nook walls there.

Problem solved at this moment.

We'll see.
