I am having some problems with a inplace family.I want the instance parameter from all the family’s to be accessible in the project. they are shared. but i can only make the instance changes i the family not the project. That gives me a lot of family’s to keep track of. That’s bad ;-) HELP HELP ME PLEACE

First- in-place families are not meant for multiple instances... so there are no instance parameters and every time you copy an in-place family, it is a new family. So your answer is, this needs to be a loaded family, not in-place.
