I have a simple toposurface I created from and imported .dwg. The method to create the .dwg was to  trace over a topographical map, the move the contours in the z dimension in Autocad.

My first problem is that there are extra lines that show up (see image).

I double checked the cad file and I think it is clean. Everything is on the right level, no double lines.

My second problem is that after I create the toposurface, the contours no longer extend to the property lines. There must be an easy way to remedy that issue that I am missing.

I anyone could help me figure these out, it would be great.

Thanks!

The topo in cad is ok, revit is just showing you the top of the hill... wich is flat.

The contours that revit creates is displayed based on the revit 'Site Settings'. There are major and minor contours at specified intervals regardless of the elevations of the imported CAD files.
The imported CAD file is the data that is used to 'create the toposurface' but revit says where or (where not) to show the new revit contours.
All answers can be found under 'Site Settings'.

Great, thanks guys. I did play with the site settings and couldn't get rid of the lines, but I will keep trying.

Just use the 'edit surface' tools and delete or move a few points.
