I've looked through some similar questions but they were a little old, and I'm hoping that things have changed. My question is: Is it possible to halftone patterns? I have some special ductwork that requires it to have a crosshatch pattern but I want it to show as halftone or at least a fine line weight. I tried making it gray and printing with raster instead of vector but that didn't work. I lament the old days of AutoCAD where I could make things appear as I wished.

I forgot to mention that I'm using Filters to apply the surface pattern.

Ok, I feel like an idiot. I had it working at some point in the past and then it wasn't and I couldn't figure out why. When I was going through the print setup to print of a half-size I realized that someone had changed the default 'Appearance' > 'Colors' from Grayscale to Black Lines. Problem solved. Sorry, Revit, it wasn't your fault... this time.
