I have been working in Revit MEP 2011 and doing electrical Drawings. The engineer asked for a 3D print out and I can see the walls of the linked model but all of our devices show through the walls.

I went to View Graphics and made sure that the halftone and transparent are unchecked but it is still showing through. I have went online and to Revit help but can't see anything about this kind of problem. Is there something I am missing in the View Graphics Dialog Box. Or is there another setting where I can get the walls of the linked model to be opaque and not show devices from the far side?

I've been seeing the same thing in one of my models, and it appears to be caused by the phase settings. Unfortunately, I have not been able to figure out how to make it stop (I haven't had the time to look at it much, and it's not a huge problem yet), but that should give you something to look at.

If it's caused by the phase settings, check your phase graphic overrides.

OK guys I found the problem. In elevations and #D go have to go to the disipline settting in properties and change it to coordination and that sets wall as opaque. It works well and takes out the show through problem
