When I insert a double pitched top chord SLH joist into my model from the built-in Revit family, Revit treats the high point at the mid-span of the joist as the "top" of the joist.  This causes the bearing seat to be really low (well below the top flange of the supporting beam).  Then I have to manually "raise" the joist so that it is bearing on the beam properly.

Does anyone know how to change the "top" reference point for double pitched top chord joists in the family so that they are inserted at the proper bearing elevation?

 Thanks.
