So, if I insert a new symbol (plan note, in this case), when I select it and edit the note to read, say, "1", the text already entered in the schedule under plan note #1 is deleted (though it's still available under the drop-down menu).  Does anyone know why this is/how to fix it?  It's incredibly aggravating.

FYI, I'm using Revit2011, though I had the same problem(s) in Revit09.
