i need to do an analisis of my project from sept 21 at 9am and 3pm. and determine the natural lighting in candle watts. can i do this in revit? if so can someone point me in the direction and i can do he leg work. i just dont know where to start. Thanks

Revit MEP will only give you the illuminance based upon what light fixures are in the room (also default is foot-candles but can be changed to candle watts in the project units (shortcut=UN)), it does not take any external lighting projections into account like radiance does, for example. Best bet is to model it in Revit and export to IES, Ecotect, Dialux, etc... HTH
