1 . look, the slope roof on the top of the building I made in revit is a hip roof in picture1, but I want to cut top point of the roof and have a square on the top just like my sketchup model in picture2. 2 the roof I have generated by revit directly is not perfect shown in pictre3 and I want to the roof like picture4, so I made some revision, just make a big roof and then make an other small roof, it shows perfect in picture5. but I don't know how to unite these two roofS? shown in pircture6 Edited on: Thu, Feb 10, 2011 at 2:04:15 AM

1) In your HELP menu search for "Cutoff Level" and "Cutoff Offset", it's very easy to do that 2) I don't have Revit here right now to open your model but to join (unite these two roofS) like you said, use the "join/unjoin roof" tool, you can see this too in your HELP menu.

thank you, I have cut the roof successfully. can you tell me how to join the small roof to the big roof? It is My second question.
