Hi, I am fairly new with Revit; I have been working with AutoCAD for many years but decided to move on to Revit recently and just wondering if anyone could help? I created a roof (please see attached) using a In-Place Mass and need to trim it to follow the chamfer of walls underneath it, could anyone tell me how it can be done? When I made the same roof using Component/Model-In-Place, then I could cut it by adding a Void Form. Thanks a lot. Kayvan PS: in order to make my attached file smaller, I purged all unused families, not sure of it’s right thing to do.

Ok, you need to edit that "Mass" then create the Void and use the "cut geometry" tool to cut that portion of mass, then, finish and select the roof, look at your ribbon, you will see a "Update to Face" button, click on it, done. Watch the video: http://screencast.com/t/jgbIMBhds
