I am trying to control the graphic display of stairs in the existing phase. In 'New Construction' a stair has 'Overhead 1/16' Line style for all things above the cut line. When I make a stair Existing all lines above the cut line turn to solid lines. Is there a way to modify the Object Style per phase. It would seem since it gives you the option to change line styles above and below the cut line, it would in turn allow you to modify them per phase as well. Clearly there is a difference since Revit is defaulting to different styles per phase. Thank you.

Ugh, I am having the same problem! It seems ridiculous that the phasing will override the line style override! Hopefully someone has an answer besides "turn off the stairs above the cut line and draw in dashed lines where the stairs would be above" C*
