Hi All, We are trying to create new steel roof truss families for a project that is currently under construction. We intend to build about 20 trusses in total. We could use your expert advice on two things: - Is the family editor in revit 2010 (Architecture) able to clean junctions, similar to the 'Beam / Column Joins' in the project editor? We started with a 'Metric Structural Framing - Complex and Trusses family' and used standard steel sections to create the truss. However, we have been unable to clean the joins.
- Is is better to construct the individual trusses as individual familes or just model in place in the project. What would be less heavy on the model? Please note that the majority of the trusses are unique in design.
I have attached our un-finished truss family for your information. We are all pretty novice at this, and appreciate any advice. Thanks Daniel
