I am working on a project with a co-worker; we have enabled worksets, created the central file and are working from our local files. We have done this many times in the past and never had a problem with it; he's always been able to do his work and I've been able to do mine, synchronizing with central periodically to update our plans. This time, if he's edited an element then he owns everything, so he has to synch w/ central for me to edit anything, and then I suddenly own everything. Defeats the whole purpose of worksharing and it's the first we've ever run into the issue. After reading and re-reading Revit Help I am stumped. Any ideas? Thanks!

Never heard of this. Is something grouped that is causing this?

Nothing is grouped, however we are working with design options. That hasn't been an issue in the past for us, but might that affect it?

Only one person can edit a design option at a time, so yes, that is your problem.

Thanks for the info! Of course it's always something simple.
