I'm wondering if anyone has figured out a way to create a roof curb that can be placed on a roof and be always vertical? I'm trying to avoid the slight pitch you'd get when placing RTUs on a flat roof and also be able to specify a minimum height. I've looked here and on the web and can't find a good answer.

I've tried roof based; doesn't recognize the roof from the arch linked model. Tried face based; no always vertical function. Tried work plane based; This is the best I've found but still not perfect. It has "always vertical" and can be attached to a face, but the bottom doesn't align to the roof plane and would need to be either extended below the roof or left floating. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

I'm looking for the same exact Roof Curb solution.  Has anyone had any luck?  Advice?

Thanks

RISAKU80,

The solution I ended up using was the one I mentioned above, Workplane based with always vertical. I also extended the curb down a couple inches below the reference level. It's not perfect but it works fairly well.
