We generally do schematic design at 1/8" scale and ConDocs at 1/4" scale so...
We had all sheets setup for 1/8" drawings on 24x36 and had to switch the scale to 1/4" drawings. Naturally the drawings no longer fit on a 24x36 sheet so... rather than setting up all new sheets we just renamed our titleblock family (from 24x36titlblock to 30x42titleblock) and imported the larger format titleblock, overwriting the 24x36 titleblock with a 30x42. You still have to go into every sheet and recenter your elements but it saves time.
Hmm... looks like you can also just load the new titleblock, go into each sheet and swap the titleblocks. Guess it's not as big a timesaver as I thought.
