Hi

I'm sketching on a project that have several levels with different kinds of functions described by room areas / tags and grouped by departments. I have setup all departments in schedules and given them numbers.

Now, as it often happens in this sketching phase, functions has to move to other locations, on other levels. This is where I get some troubbles.

How can I move a 'room area' to a other level without having to rewrite the room numbers ?

If I just cut and paste the area it gets a new number :-/

I hope some have had this issue and found a solution :-)

Thanks

Revit will always assign a new room number - but no problem, just change it.

Hi wwhub

Not the answer I hoped for :-/

The problem is, that departments consists of lot of rooms, more than 20, and it's a lot of renumbering :-(

But thanks, I now know that there is no other way

Thanks

if you have alot to change, i have found it is quicker to change them from a room schedule rather than from the plan view.
