Using Revit 2011 I am needing to show span directions on the main & foundation plans, and seemed to have been able to do this with no problem in R2010 (or earlier). I can't seem to get the annotation family to drop into the drawing. Any guesses as to what I am doing wrong? (I am cleaning up drawings created by a previous employee, and he used text with two-way leaders.... not what I like to see, so I'm attempting to change stuff.) Thanks for any help, Susan

i know when you select span direction it wants you to select a floor tin order to placed it. once you select a floor it should take right off.
