when you create a flight of stairs how and what command do you use to cut a section out of the ceiling the stairs are cutting through?

Hi Nathan,
After craeting your stairs
go to the first floor (the floor where you want to cut the opening)
go to the element properties dialouge box, (right click - view properties) select underlay and select level 1
(this is to see the stairs on the underside, click ok to exit.
Select modelling tab and opening, then pick "pick a face of a roof, floor, ceiling ..........etc. top one i think
Click on your floor construction where you want to cut through,
and sketch lines where you want the opening to be, press ok and bingo,
you can always edit the cut section later if so required, hope that helps,
